Eyelash Extensions

Before

  • Please avoid wearing eye makeup to your eyelash appointment.

  • Do not perm or curling your lashes ─come with your lashes in their natural state.

  • Remove contact lens, please wear glasses if you can.

  • Remove mascara, eyeliner, and other eye makeup. (Although I do have eye cleanser on hand, removing eye makeup can be time-consuming and take away from your lash extension application time.)

  • Shower prior your lash appointment, to ensure the curing time between the lashes are bond properly.

After

  • Avoid sauna, hot yoga, tanning beds, and excessive heat in the first 24 hours.

  • To remove eye make-up, use oil free make-up remover and cleanser.

  • Use cotton swabs to remove eye make-up by working gently around the eyelashes.

  • No store bought mascara is safe for eyelash extensions due to the chemical properties and oil that will break down the adhesive. One cost of store bought mascara will shorten the lifespan of the lashes by 50%.

  • You should never use a clamp-style eyelash curler. These curlers will break the extensions as well as your natural lashes.

  • Touching your eyelash extension will shorten the lifespan of your application. Rubbing, picking, and pulling will damage your extensions and may cause damage to your natural lashes. By achieving the best result you should never touch your extensions.

  • Wash and brush through your extensions daily with lash brush to avoid infections and them clumping together.

  • It is recommended to book your eyelash refill at 2 -3 weeks, a maximum of 4 weeks intervals in order to maintain your optimum eyelash effect.  If you wait for too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. A good indicator of when to be in for a fill is when your extensions are 50% gone.

  • Do not attempt to remove extensions by yourself. Please contact your lash technician for removal.

  • If you sleep on your stomach or your side, you might crush your lashes, making them last a shorter period of time. Try to sleep on your back.
