Eyebrows

Before

Inform your technician if you are taking any of the following medications:

· Blood thinners

· Blood pressure medications

· Diuretics

· Painkillers

· Immuno Suppressant Dermatological Medications (Accutane)

· Tranquilzers

· Sleeping Pills

· Chemical peels

· Hormone Replacements

· Antibiotics

Do NOT consume caffeine on the day of the treatment.

Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen 72 hours before and after your treatment.

One week before: stop taking the following supplements (Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Gingko Biloba, St. John's Wort) as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.

PLEASE NOTE: THE RESULTS ARE VERY NATURAL, FLAWLESS, GIVING YOU A FULLER LOOKING BROW. INITIALLY, THE BROWS APPEAR DARKER, BUT FADE SIGNIFICANTLY OVER A TWO WEEK PERIOD. IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL TO HAVE A TOUCH UP DONE, AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT HOW WELL THE SKIN WILL RETAIN THE PIGMENT.  IF YOU PASS THE 8 WEEKS MARK FOR TOUCH UP, YOUR NEXT TREATMENT WILL BE TREATED AS A FIRST TIME APPOINTNMENT. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FULL PRICE.

After

Your skin will be temporarily sensitized after the treatment and you should adhere to the following instructions for the next 5-10 days. During the post treatment period please try to avoid the following, this will help prevent infection and will allow time for the skin to recover.

· If you apply makeup during the 10 days following the treatment, you do so at your own risk.

· Cleanse the treatment area gently with anti-bacterial soap twice a day, air dry.

· Apply the after care ointment with a cotton swab only, thin layer.

· You can wash or wet it as much as possible throughout the day, with water only.

· Healing will take up to 2 week, and it is perfectly normal for the treated area to scab, these scabs will fall off within a few days.

· DO NOT TOUCH or PICK the small scabs that may appear after the treatments.

· It is normal for the colour to be dark the first week, then fade the following two weeks after the treatment.

· AVOID using cleansers, creams or make up on the treated area.

· AVOID facial treatments, including eyelash or eyebrow tinting or tweezing, threading, electrolysis, waxing, laser, any form of bleach or depilatory products ect.

· AVOID touching the treated area, exercise, taking hot baths, swimming, saunas, steam, sunbathing, using sun beds or any other heat treatment. The treated area should be kept as dry as possible.  ·

· Should an infection occur, seek medical attention.

Expect moderate swelling, usually one to three days following the procedure. Scabbing may make the brows feel thick. Brows will fade up to 40% after the first 5 days. While healing, the tattoo will look patchy. This is due to skin regeneration and healing. Two or three sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. Please be patient. Cosmetic tattooing is a multiple-step appointment process with a healing time of approximately 6 weeks in between touch up appointments.

The above Pre and Post-Care for brows will affect how quickly or slowly you heal. Mature age, poor diet, stress, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, age, general health, sleep/fatigue. The more fatigued you are the lower your immune system is and infection is more likely to occur.

Please get plenty of rest and drink lots of water to hydrate prior to procedure.
